Chris Hines is an Award Winning Film Composer and Music Producer in the entertainment industry.
As a film composer, Chris scored the full feature documentary “Embodied”, premiering at the world-renowned Tribeca Film Festival, and now available on Apple TV, Amazon and more. Embodied follows the stories of five individuals as they combat weight stigma. Chris also had the honor of collaborating with composer guru Christopher Lennertz on the “Turbo Rush” cue for hit show The Boys (Amazon Studios).
Chris also worked as a producer on the song “Holla If Ya Need Me” for Trey Songz’s Ready album. The album was nominated for a Grammy Award (Best Contemporary R&B Album).
Chris has also released various solo projects. Notable releases include: Eclectic Electronic instrumental album “Catharsis”, Electro-Funk single “Humanity”, Hip-Hop covers of “Linus & Lucy” and John Carpenter’s “Halloween Theme,” and award winning R&B/Hip-Hop compilation album entitled Mastermind.
One project that is near and dear to Chris is Ambient New Age EP “Black Garden,” 99% of streaming royalties from the “Black Garden” EP are automatically sent to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.Chris continues to score films and other visual media projects as a film and media composer; and to produce alongside the best songwriters, producers, and artists in the music industry.
