Originally hailing from Virginia, Kurt got his start as a teenager songwriting and playing guitar in rock bands. After one frustrating recording session in a studio trying to record with his band, he realized the importance that producers play in crafting the sonics of a record. He then turned towards learning the production craft and in doing so, found a home in electronic music.
In 2013, Kurt relocated to Los Angeles, where he has worked as a DJ/Producer in both the dance music scene and for Film/TV music.
As a producer, composer, and songwriter, Kurt has written and produced music featured in dozens of films and TV shows. His music has been featured in films such as Marvel’s "Spiderman: Homecoming" and "Far From Home", "Birds of Prey", and "Good Boys". His music has also been featured in notable shows including "Euphoria", "Brooklyn 99", "Empire", "Marvel’s Runaways", "Power", "Shameless", and "The Good Place".
In his creative work with Spectrasonics, Kurt’s sound can be heard in both the killer patches and epic music demos he has crafted.
