Richard Courtel

Richard Courtel

Richard Courtel started playing synthesizers at 13 in 1986 with a Yamaha DX27 and fell into synth programming at the same time. Years passed, and sound design became prominent in his music process, using only patches that he was creating. The Internet grew up, and he started to share and sell patches online for a lot of different hardware synths (most of them are on barbandco.com) and do some factory presets for some plugins.

He was amazed by the amount of sound sources that Omnisphere brings in, and it quickly became his favorite plugin when working with a daw. He felt the Hardware profiles update was amazing and designing some patches for it while testing the update was really interesting for him.
