Approaching music and sound as a combination of art and science - creating a harmonious blend of technology and beauty - these are the things that motivate Artemiy Pavlov.
Born in Kharkov, Ukraine, Artemiy is the son of an audio engineer, the grandson of an aircraft engineer, and the great-grandson of a steam locomotive engineer. His fascination for music and technology is one which he comes by honestly!
Raised in the recording studio, Artemiy began experimenting with synthesis and recording gear at a young age. When he discovered you could create your own sounds with synthesizers, he was hooked. He went on to earn a degree in Electronic Engineering and did graduate research in Microwave Physics.
A sound designer and consultant for numerous hardware and software manufacturers including Roland and Spectrasonics, Artemiy contributed to legendary instruments such as the V-Synth, Fantom-G, SH-01, and most recently, the Jupiter-80. In addition to creating patches for Spectrasonics' Bob Moog Tribute Library, Artemiy created the Wave-shaping algorithms for Omnisphere.
Artemiy founded the sound design and software firm, Sinevibes in 2004.
